Community Health & Wellbeing Co-Ordinator

At Springbank Community Group CiC, we recognise the importance of supporting the physical and mental health of our community. That’s why we have a dedicated Community Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, who works to promote healthier lifestyles, reduce health inequalities, and connect individuals with the resources they need to thrive.

Sarah, our Health and Wellbeing Coordinator plays a vital role in:

  • Promoting Wellbeing: Organising events, workshops, and initiatives focused on improving physical and mental health, including exercise classes, mindfulness sessions, and healthy eating programmes.
  • Connecting People with Services: Acting as a bridge between the community and local health services, signposting individuals to the right support, whether that’s a GP, mental health service, or community group.
  • Reducing Social Isolation: Developing activities and events that encourage social interaction, helping to create a more connected and supportive community.
  • Listening and Supporting: Offering one-on-one advice and support to community members facing health or wellbeing challenges, providing a compassionate ear and practical solutions.

Through this role, we aim to ensure that everyone in our community has access to the tools and resources they need to lead healthier, happier lives. Whether it’s providing guidance, offering support, or creating opportunities for connection, our Community Health and Wellbeing Coordinator is here to make a positive impact.
